The narrative commences with two Space Club members, who are launching their 21st rocket named Himawari. Amamiya Ginga, the club's president, is the offspring of a hero who always wears a beaming expression and affirms that "Nothing is unachievable for Space Club members!" after leaping from the school's roof. Hinata Youichi, the story's protagonist, adores space and is knowledgeable about stars but is introverted compared to Amamiya. Despite this, Hinata still follows the President around, sometimes assertively.
The plot thickens as Hinata catches a glance of a shooting star, and he embarks on a journey to locate where it crashed. On the way, he reunites with Amamiya, who declares that it wasn't a meteor but a UFO.
