Suzume Yosano, a 15-year-old girl from the countryside, is forced to move to Tokyo and live with her uncle due to her father's job transfer. She gets lost in the city and is helped by a mysterious man who turns out to be her homeroom teacher at school. As Suzume navigates this new environment, she finds herself encountering him often.
Volume 3 of the manga also features a oneshot called "The Second Kiss," which tells a story of a sorrowful kiss shared between two people.
In Volume 5, readers will find the oneshot story "Cookie Girl, Cream Boy," which follows the unlikely love story of Asuka Fuji and Sen Naoki. Asuka never thought she would be asked out by someone as elegant and elite as Sen, but as they fall in love, they become like an Oreo - an odd pair, but happy together.
Volume 6 includes a oneshot called "Tsuyu Kaoru," which is a romantic and melancholic love story that takes place in the rain under a red umbrella.
