After losing her parents, Rin, a 9-year-old girl, resides on Enoshima Island by herself. She must attend school and manage her family's restaurant located on the first floor of their house. Despite her determination, her youthful age jeopardizes the business's profitability as the food is subpar, leaving declining finances. Rin can't even afford necessary items such as a new winter coat or an umbrella to cover her ragged clothing. Nevertheless, her optimistic and positive nature entices compassionate people to come to her aid and assist her in revitalizing her business.
