In a quest to have her wish granted, freshman student Nozomi Shinonome desperately seeks shooting stars. She joins the Astronomy Club together with second-year student Shouta Musashi, the only other member in the club. While Nozomi is passionate about the stars, Shouta only wants a stress-free school life, hence his decision to join a club with no members. Unexpectedly, Shouta discovers that he can summon shooting stars by snapping his fingers, and Nozomi ropes him into helping her achieve her mission. With Shouta's assistance, Nozomi may finally have her wish fulfilled.
