The leading character goes by the name Woojae, while his wife, Seo-jin, is a renowned drama writer. Regrettably, Woojae is a relatively unknown scriptwriter, and despite his vow to look after their daughter and financially back Seo-jin until their child turns eight, to uphold domestic stability, he feels hollow inside as their daughter grows and Seo-jin's success ascends. In due course, an unknown "woman" feigns that Seo-jin is engaging in suspicious activities and approaches Woojae. The mystifying woman guarantees to teach Woojae the art of killing and gradually dominates his existence.
