The Lee and Dai families had a longstanding master-servant relationship that eventually developed into a close friendship between the heirs. In keeping with tradition, Dai Xiaodao (known as Dai Xiaoshuang) takes over as Li Qingri's manservant after her brother Dai Dadao passes away.
However, this decision brings on a host of challenges for Dai Xiaodao. Not only must she hide her love for Li Qingri, who is now her roommate, but she must also deal with a suspicious senpai who always has fish on hand and a friendly classmate who is secretly a carnivore.
Despite these obstacles, Dai Xiaodao's biggest surprise comes when she catches the alluring scent of Ye Weien while passing through a secret path. Though he may be a notorious playboy, Dai Xiaodao refuses to believe that he could be her destined partner, no matter what the legend says.
