Junhwi Kang, a 17-year-old who has the ability to see ghosts, suffers from amnesia following an accident. He undergoes the grim reaper's challenge to earn a second chance at life, and subsequently becomes an intern Hwarang, or Flower Knight, in the underworld. Assigned to work with peace officer partner Horan, Junhwi undertakes a series of investigations under the guidance of Bihyeongrang. As they navigate the mythical underworld, encountering magicians, monsters, and legendary figures, Junhwi is compelled to delve into the circumstances surrounding his own fateful accident.
