Kotono Nagase, a high school student, along with her best friend, are elated to secure a place in a dorm with eight other budding idols after acing their auditions. Their joy is short-lived as they soon discover that it takes more than just attractive choreography and outfits to ascend the ranks in the VENUS program. Climbing to the pinnacle will require dedication and hard work, and as the top-most position in the program is occupied by idol sensation Mana Nagase- Kotono's elder sister- it only adds to the pressure.
