As Duchess Aila Rinehart, Baek Hayul wakes up in an unfamiliar place, and realizes she must escape to safety. In the novel, Prince, My Prince, her husband Duke Claude Rinehart plays the role of the villain, and is ultimately put to death for planning to overthrow the monarchy. Hayul desperately wants a divorce to avoid a similar fate, but Claude adamantly denies her request.
