Despite his grandfather's dying wish for him to care for the temple, Ikkyuu finds himself in a difficult situation. The temple is on the brink of foreclosure as it was pledged as collateral for an enormous debt. Recognizing the temple's significance in the community and his responsibility to his grandfather, Ikkyuu feels compelled to act. He decides to ask for help from a well-respected loan company and contacts their representative, Kawachi, who agrees to pay off the debt on one condition. To save the temple and himself, Ikkyuu must compete in brutal street fights held in an unregulated underground club known as the Clash Club. These high-risk battles feature gambling and present a significant danger to his life. With the temple's fate and his own survival in the balance, Ikkyuu must maintain his winning streak in these violent competitions to succeed.
