Following Ilya's tragic death, Aisei's universe turned into a dull, colorless void. However, at Ilya's funeral, three ghosts, each claiming to be a different version of Ilya tangled up in their own remorse, came to Aisei in search of aid. Aisei, though confronting his sorrow directly, resolves to assist the three Ilyas in passing on and gradually accepts his somber present.
