In the 1910s, Iwamoto Kodo attended Suho Junior High School which was under military supervision. His duty was to explore paranormal activities in different parts of the country as instructed by the Army. In one such investigation, he came upon a village with the rumored "black snow" and encountered a young boy with extraordinary abilities. The boy believed that his powers were a curse, but Iwamoto was able to showcase his own skills and offer the boy a letter of recommendation from the school. Along his mission, Iwamoto faced numerous mysterious challenges and also fell in love with someone special, leading to an everlasting story.
