The Storm in Heaven's legacy group recounts a tale of Jusenkai, an alternate dimension in ancient China where the Senkaijin, a powerful group of individuals, possess extraordinary abilities. YanLang, a formidable Senkaijin, leads a rebel army but is defeated in his attempt to overthrow the Emperor. He flees with his followers to Earth, and the Emperor dispatches his elite soldiers, including TuoRen who works alone, to capture them.
During his travels, LiFang is searching for his father's murderer when he encounters TuoRen, a sick and wounded imperial soldier on a mission to capture the Senkaijin rebels. LiFang's impressive abilities and unshakeable determination persuade TuoRen to allow him to accompany him on his mission. It's worth noting that the extra content in volume 5 of this series, "Time Lag," is an unrelated short story.
