A high school girl named Ako Kobayashi yearns for a heroic savior to whisk her off her feet. Unfortunately, there's a problem she must confront: she struggles with a paralyzing fear of boys, to the point where proximity triggers hives. Despite Kei Kitaooji, a popular boy, expressing interest in her, Ako turns him down. However, when Kei learns about Ako's condition, he decides to don feminine garb the next day and make another attempt at asking her out.
