Goh Akazaki, a 26-year-old shoujo manga artist, makes his living through his craft. His assistant, Yusuke Akune, is also a mangaka. However, Goh is taken aback one day when he learns that Yusuke is gay. It prompts him to ponder over how much he really knows about his friend. Later, when Goh is commissioned to work on a BL project, he seeks inspiration from Yusuke. As he explores the idea of having unrequited love for Yusuke, Goh finds himself struggling to regulate his own emotions.
