The narrative follows the life of a 10-year-old boy named Haré, residing with his mother Weda in a village situated in a bizarre jungle. Weda enjoys a social life and spends her nights partying with her female companions while snoozing during the day. One day, Weda brings a charming girl named Guu as a playmate for Haré. However, the following morning, Guu metamorphoses into a grumpy, malicious trickster who finds happiness in tormenting Haré. Additionally, Guu has an ability to swallow anything and bring it back up undigested. Haré assumes her to be a demonic figure due to her magical capabilities, but only a handful of people share his beliefs.
