Junkyu and Ai had enjoyed ten years of dating and seven years of living together in complete harmony. They would share meals together daily and reserved intimacy for special occasions. However, Ai is presented with a job opportunity that requires him to transfer to a new location. After much contemplation, Junkyu eventually agrees to a long-distance relationship in support of Ai's career goals. As they try to adapt to this new arrangement, a man unexpectedly emerges and confesses his attraction to Junkyu.
