It was in 1587 that the Tokugawa clan relentlessly sought to eliminate Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who relied on a smart, cunning yet seemingly frail samurai named Sanada Yukimura to safeguard his people and thwart his adversaries. In addition, Hideyoshi tasked the outspoken and impulsive shinobi, Sarutobi Sasuke, to collaborate with Sanada, causing mutual irritation between the two.
