Kizakura Suika has been living independently since going through a tragedy. She often walks by an old sanctuary where her childhood friend, Yorozu, is employed. However, Suika's destiny changes when she meets the god of death and learns that Yorozu is the covert divine protector of the ancient temple. Once she knows Yorozu's true role, Suika must decide whether to marry him or let him go forever.
