In a society where dungeon-crawling prowess equates to social standing, Akisora Shuu is bestowed with the unconventional "Appraiser" class. Since it lacks combat utility, his abilities go unnoticed, leaving him to lead a humdrum and monotonous existence. However, this all changes when a video he shared of a monster he had appraised yields an unexpected result - an instant level-up. As it turns out, he gained experience points every time someone defeated the creature he had recorded. Now armed with an endless source of experience, he sets forth into the dungeons to rescue his cherished loved one.
