Shinohara's close friend Ono confesses their feelings to her, but she flees in embarrassment. Tragically, Ono is killed in an accident that same night before receiving a response. Consumed by sorrow and remorse, Shinohara longs to reunite with Ono and visits their grave. To her amazement, Ono appears before her as a newly departed soul.
