There appears to be some kind of hearsay or talk going around about the man from the main office. As a result of the spreading gossip, Shiina was moved to the General Affairs department of the local office. To avoid triggering his trauma caused by crowds, he now takes an early morning bus to work. On a rainy commute home one day, Shiina rides with Niwa from the Development department. Unfortunately, he experiences a panic attack, but Niwa is supportive throughout the ordeal. "I'll be right by your side to assist you whenever you feel uneasy." After that incident, Niwa decides to start taking the same bus as Shiina every morning.
