After completing his studies at a university in Tokyo, Chiharu heads back to the hot spring inn of his family, where he is set to become the heir as the only male child. However, due to his poor communication skills, he faces difficulties in taking over the responsibility. One day, Sonoda, a popular judo player from college, arrives at the inn for his rehabilitation. Despite Chiharu's struggles with communication, Sonoda treats him with dignity and respect, making him feel comfortable. Suddenly, Sonoda asks him a question that catches him off-guard - "Are you attracted to men?" - leaving him unsure how to react.
