Arata, who works at a bento shop, becomes intrigued by Shun, a young boy who frequently buys food. However, Shun suddenly ceases to appear. After rescuing a dog from a river, Arata finds himself transported to another world. In order to move on, he must spend time at a hotel. Unexpectedly, he encounters Shun again at the hotel. As they navigate the afterlife, a heartfelt romance blossoms between the lackadaisical Arata and the straightforward delinquent, Shun.
