At the convenience company, Yamamoto Rizu assumes the role of a jack-of-all-trades - tackling various tasks like construction and investigations, unlike his fellow colleagues. Due to an unforeseen circumstance, Rizu is assigned to be Miyoushi's overnight comrade, as the latter cannot sleep soundly without someone present in the room. In jest, Rizu suggests that Miyoushi could be his partner, given his reluctance to seek female company. This light-hearted banter leads to a transformation of their dynamic, with Miyoushi volunteering to be Rizu's partner during work hours and even continuing their sleepover routine to provide comfort and companionship.
