During his commute to the esteemed St. Gloria Institute, Morisaki Hinatsu encounters a demon and engages in a battle despite the curse of his bloodline. Upon arriving at the school, Hinatsu and his fellow students engage in a customary activity where they use any means necessary to obtain ID tags from one another. Amidst the struggle, Hinatsu realizes that a demon is observing him closely. He wonders about the intentions of this supernatural being.
