Kouhei, frustrated with his bandmates' lack of creativity, is captivated by the enchanting voice of an unknown singer at a nearby music venue. Despite having no information about "X," as the voice is known, Kouhei sets out to find him. His only clues are X's left arm tattoo and mesmerizing voice. After months of searching, Kouhei unexpectedly stumbles upon X, who now goes by Rei, at a convenience store. However, Kouhei's attempts to woo Rei are met with rejection, leaving him feeling like a failure.
