Kobayashi, a consultant, frequently uses his profession to ensnare younger males. But when he's partnered with the taciturn Chief Araki, who's in his mid-40s, on his latest undertaking, he is initially disappointed. However, Kobayashi starts admiring Araki's work ethic and develops a newfound reverence for him. Instead of persisting in his habit of wooing others, Kobayashi chooses to leverage his friendly demeanor to establish an improbable camaraderie.
