Yui Satou, who had lost her faithful pet dog that had been by her side through high school, college, and even employment, found herself drowning in grief at a bar. It was there that she encountered a man who offered unwelcome advice on how to cope with her sorrows. He suggested that she overdose or take something for her "dull-looking head" and wait for death.
