When spirited Licca Belmonte gains an adoptive brother, Geralt, whom her parents rescued from starvation on the street, she couldn't be happier. However, as soon as they meet, a status screen appears in front of her and triggers a faint memory of her past life as a modern-day Japanese girl. Licca realizes that the screen displays a favorability rating, indicating how close someone is to her. To her disappointment, Geralt's rating is a negative 30, and Licca desperately tries to improve their relationship. Despite her efforts, Geralt's rating never surpasses zero, leaving Licca perplexed as to why he seems to loathe her so much.
