Kaito Arihara, a high school student, has never formed a connection with animals. However, after getting caught up in a magical circle surrounding his classmate, Chisato Shishihara, Kaito finds himself transported to a mysterious realm. In this new world, Kaito encounters Schiff, a shape-shifting monster who takes the form of a black cat. Schiff recognizes Kaito's extraordinary mana as that of a "Tamer" and offers to become his familiar. Despite this, Kaito prefers to fight solo, relying on his powerful mana abilities to do so. As Kaito tries to find his footing in this new world, he faces challenges resulting from Chisato's absence, the appearance of Leafa, who is familiar with Kaito, and the foreboding presence of the demon king. This is an adventure-filled comedic tale that defies conventions surrounding "Monster Tamers" and introduces a groundbreaking new type of hero: the "Hit-Tamer" in an alternate dimension.
