After being imprisoned for desecrating holy relics, the skilled alchemist, Kuusla, joined forces with the Order of Clausius. Alongside his longtime companion, Welland, he was sent to Grubetti, a town on the frontlines.
While carrying out their mission, Kuusla stumbled upon Urle Fenesis, a devout nun who referred to herself as a "watchful" presence, at a modern workshop in Grubetti.
