After a perilous journey, the protagonist reaches the Dark Lady's fortress only to be asked for help instead of receiving a warm welcome. When the Hero shares the horrors of the demons' invasion on humanity, the Queen of the demons counters that the war has brought positive outcomes like growth in population, economy, and society. She also warns of a civil war if the conflict ends early, which could result in more loss of life. Despite these obstacles, our protagonist realizes partnering with the Queen may be the only way to achieve peace and agrees to aid her in her endeavors.
