The story revolves around three teenagers as its protagonists. The first one, Yuki, is about to complete her first year of primary school. The second is Chika, Yuki's elder sister by one year. The third protagonist is Kumi, whose father's debts have caused her family's downfall. This has forced Kumi's mother to compel her to model for photographs. Kumi's aunt, Michiko, was once a renowned ballerina, and it's presumed that Kumi may have inherited her aunt's talent, considering the storyline's core focus on classical dance and its importance.
