After the unsuccessful Shimabara Rebellion, headed by Shiro Amakusa in an effort to uplift Christianity against the ruling Shogunate, the story unfolds. Tragically, the rebellion ended in a brutal manner and Amakusa faced execution. Nonetheless, nefarious powers are lurking, and Amakusa reappears from beyond the grave.
