Mako is a coy girl who blushes at the slightest of things, whereas Hachisuka is an unruffled, stoic boy. They are companions attending the same institution, but they are beyond conventional students: Mako is a one-eyed being, while Hachisuka sports feline ears. Their everyday existence and the occurrences unfolding around them, coupled with Mako's ill-at-ease endeavors to narrate her emotions to Hachisuka, constitute the narrative.
