Manaka is a teenage girl in high school who occupies herself with multiple part-time jobs. During a visit to an ancient mountain shrine, she encounters Chikaomi, the embodiment of a god of flames. Repeated meetings at the shrine lead to a shift in Manaka's mundane existence and its transformation into a vibrant existence. Set in the Japanese city of Sendai, the story weaves a tale of tender connections formed through meetings and separation, as an introverted girl and a deity deprived of his powers find love in each other's presence.
