Takaaki has been lounging around his estate, feeling restless and apathetic, ever since he was removed from his position at court due to a scandal. However, his friend Naruhito pays him a visit and recounts a wild tale about the most stunning woman he's ever seen. Naruhito convinces Takaaki to join him on his quest to win her heart, but as they embark on their adventure, they discover that the so-called "Princess" may not be as she appears. Takaaki becomes intrigued by Princess Kaguya, but as he delves deeper into her past, he uncovers a dark and mysterious secret.
