During the Edo Period in present-day Tokyo's Yoshiwara district, the red light area saw the restoration of its brothels, along with the abolishment of prostitution. It is here that we are introduced to Kichou and his "princess", the leading courtesans of the Men's Brothel Quarters at Hanafurirou. The series comprises of three volumes: Toku Hen, Keisei Hen, and Hanazono Hen.
