After a hiatus, Shitou Teruaki, a renowned bounty hunter, is struggling to regain his status in the industry. Due to his dire financial situation, he accepts a lower-paying job to apprehend a serial rapist. However, he is caught off guard when "K," a mysterious and confident bounty hunter currently in 2nd place, seems to be vying for the same target. The competition intensifies when Shitou saves the local celebrity, Ayatsuji Kaoru, from the rapist's clutches. Determined to claim the title of #1 bounty hunter, Shitou and K engage in a fierce battle.
