Yun Yao's stepparents arranged her marriage to a wealthy man, in order to pay for her brother's medical care for his congenital heart disease. Initially agreeing to the marriage, Yun Yao had a change of heart after her brother was sent abroad for treatment. However, her stepparents refused to compromise on the arrangement.
