Mitsuyaku is a tale set in Japan during the 1920s, following the journey of two childhood companions with drastically different upbringings who later fall in love. Yuuichi is a determined individual who hails from modest beginnings and strives for prosperity. His beloved Iori, on the other hand, is a kind-hearted, stunning lady who originates from a prominent clan. Unfortunately, one of the responsibilities that come with belonging to a prestigious lineage includes arranged marriages. Will the protagonist muster the courage to remain devoted to his soulmate, or will he succumb to his family's insistence of marrying for financial security?
