The video game Climax U.C. has been adapted into a manga version. The story follows a family drama spanning three generations, from the Battle of Jaburo in U.C 0079 to the Crosbone Vanguard's battlestar in U.C 0123. Kamuna Tachibana is the protagonist, growing from a young 21-year-old ensign to a seasoned 65-year-old commander of the frontier side. During battle, he discovers that the commander of the enemy MS forces is his own son Syun, leaving him to question where he went wrong as a parent. In search of an answer, he reminisces about the past.
