Daikichi Oogami, who is 52 years old, transforms into a towering behemoth in order to protect Earth from strange extraterrestrial beasts. However, his valiant efforts are met with derision as his clashes are perceived as nothing more than a spectacle. His son, Daichi, empathizes with his father's victimization and recognizes his gallant feats as undervalued and undermined. In an effort to change society's perception of these battles, Daichi sets out to become a hero in his own right.
