When he was only four years old, Masayuki Moegi underwent a traumatic event which involved a big dog. Consequently, he grew a long-lasting repulsion and anxiety towards canines. Nevertheless, his sister convinced him to register her pet in obedience lessons, which is how he crossed paths with Kanata Kurosawa, a trained professional in teaching police dogs. Even though he felt fearful, Masayuki found Kanata-sensei captivating and managed to overcome his ingrained fears.
