The game commences with Aschen Brödel and Haken Browning standing outside Mai Tierra, ready to embark on a quest. Their journey commences as they explore and clear debris with Haken's Night Fowl. After coming across an impregnable security locked doorway, Haken reminisces about the area he had last visited 23 years ago. Following a brief discussion, Haken instructs Aschen to unlock the door. Despite struggling with the complex password mechanism, Aschen pulls out her "password cracking subprogram" to assist. Haken reluctantly agrees, revealing a tremendous power boost that results in a split of personalities from a stern young lady to a hyperactive teen. They proceed onwards after opening the door, initiating an unforgettable and thrilling adventure.
