Oshino Yui's family cares for a small shrine. Yui helps out with the shrine daily and during festivals, but she also has the ability to see ghosts and spirits. She usually feels sorry for the lonely ghosts and sometimes befriends them. Yui doesn't really like cleansing spirits from a place for the convenience of living humans, but it is part of her job. On top of all the spirit and shrine work, Yui also has to handle her life at school and the confusing friendships and relationships that come with being a teenage girl!
