In the year 2001, hostile aliens known as the BETA - short for Beings of Extra Terrestrial origin who pose a threat to humankind - arrived on Earth. Over the course of two decades, they took control of vast areas of Eurasia and caused billions of casualties. In response to this brutal invasion, humans set out to create new weapons and machines for combat.
The outcome of these efforts led to the Yukon UN base in Alaska hosting the Prominence Project - a joint initiative between the United States and Russia. Skilled pilots from all over the world were brought together to participate in the project, with the aim of designing tactical weapons capable of fighting the BETA threat. The pilots were tasked with testing prototypes in mock battles against each other to determine the most effective weapons.
