Francis Dullam, a renowned mathematician and physicist, experiences the loss of his left brain hemisphere in the foreseeable future. Due to this, he decides to abandon his scientific pursuits to focus on the study of dolphins. Eventually, through scrutinizing dolphin footage, Dullam formulates a new hypothesis, which the media dismisses as a mere "thesis." Despite this, Ishii Mitsunari, an enthusiastic American student, extracts a fundamental concept hidden within the theory that could potentially revolutionize Artificial Intelligence. Driven to be at the forefront of this advancement, Mitsunari travels to Okinawa to follow in Dullam's footsteps.
