Ichika is renowned for succumbing to social pressures and engaging in activities that satisfy others, regardless of her personal preferences. This juxtaposes with her childhood companion Kon "Doc" Uchida, who enjoys life based on his individual desires. After classes, Ichika accompanies Doc to stargaze and hears him talk about space passionately.
Nevertheless, when her acquaintances attempt to arrange a date for Ichika with an older guy, she experiences inner turmoil about her conflicting emotions. Seeking counsel, Ichika turns to Doc for advice. Unfortunately, he disregards her and leaves her perplexed and hurt. Now, Ichika must contemplate whether maintaining her status at school surpasses her long-standing camaraderie with Doc.
